FDA approves Chiropractic!

We have heard great news when it comes to chiropractic care in Plantation, Florida and now the hits keep rolling! The FDA has published a blueprint for health care providers in management of patients with pain this month.  This guideline is designed to decrease the use of opioid drugs and increase awareness for safer and more effective conservative options for muscle and joint pain.

The FDA states that there are a number of nonpharacloglic therapies that can benefit pain management when it comes to the musculoskeletal system. Listed among the therapies were complimentary therapies which included acupuncture and chiropractic.

The FDA goes on to mention health care providers should be knowledgeable about the range of therapies available and when they should be helpful and used as part of pain management.
